He has body-slammed Godzilla , lifted the entire sky, and stood up to the likes of Sentry, Hulk, and Thor. One of the oldest characters in Marvel, Hercules is a true God! Marvel has a Gladiator known as Kallark who leads the Imperial Guard and enforces intergalactic law. This guy has a terrifying power level that is topped only by his confidence level. Like many other comic book characters, he is based on Superman and has achieved some near-impossible feats like lifting up buildings, knocking out the Thing, and throwing Mjolnir away like a toy.
Adam Brashear aka Blue Marvel is so strong that he once split the moon! His powers are on the level of Thor and Hulk, but being a black superhero, he has faced several instances of racism. Kennedy but was soon asked to quit being a hero, only because of his skin color! Fans of Marvel Comics might have heard about the man with the power of a million exploding suns whatever that means!
She can also control gravity and light, and can manipulate and absorb radiation and magic. Her powers are off the charts, and when she's introduced, she will be by far the strongest character we've ever had.
Gladiator is the leader of the Shi'ar imperial guard, and is stronger than the Juggernaut, Thor, and the Hulk. Kallark his real name competed against a host of other beings for the title of Gladiator.
Being of the planet Strontia, Kaalark already had impressive physiology, but the Gladiator trials granted him so much more. When he feels really good about himself, he can destroy entire planets.
Gladiator has easily K. If hearsay is to be believed, Gladiator has also collapsed stars and destroyed black holes. He has the stamina to fight for days before feeling tired. He can shoot energy beams from his eyes so intense they can burn the skin off the Hulk. Oh, and he can blow hurricane-level winds out of his lungs. Gladiator may just be the Superman of the Marvel universe. I'm not sure even Supes has done that before.
While the Wanda Maximoff of cinematic and comic book presence are dissimilar in origin, both versions have immense power. She can fly, she can blast enemies with energy, and she can perform telekinesis and telepathy.
She can also cast probability-altering hexes and chaos magic, but more importantly, she can alter the very fabric of reality itself. In WandaVision , she resurrected Vision and gave life to two children in a very unnatural way. Wanda is, in fact, a Nexus Being: those very few and rare individuals who can affect probability, and thus the future of the world.
In the movies, Wanda went up against Thanos twice, without a scratch. In WandaVision , the evil witch Agatha told her that she could destroy the world. She earns this rank on the list because she beat Scarlet Witch in a fight.
You remember that show on FX! And you remember it because it ruled! And it ruled because Legion is such a bad-ass. Legion is one of the most powerful mutants ever born, and of Omega-level ranking, thanks to his papa, Charles Xavier. His powers are basically limitless, but handicapped by his fractured psyche caused by dissociative identity disorder. This took hold under the traumatic event of watching his stepfather get killed. It caused a psychic split, which left him as just one of an ocean of different personalities floating around in his brain, each in control of one of his abilities.
But throughout the series and the comics, David has demonstrated the powers of pyrokinesis, telepathy, super strength, super speed, super healing, time travel, mind control, and even reality alteration, not unlike Scarlet Witch. If Legion ever managed to get his shit together, he could be number one on this list. Proteus Kevin MacTaggert is another Omega-level mutant, specifically capable of warping reality. Yep, very Scarlet Witch.
Proteus has many varied and versatile powers. He can teleport anywhere in the Marvel universe and multiverse, generate forcefields, manipulate molecules to a degree, and terraform planets with a thought. He is one of the few beings who can travel to the Astral Plane. His telepathic and telekinetic abilities are off the charts. Proteus, in his natural form, is a being composed of pure energy, which basically makes him immortal.
But no, this does not make him cosmic. Sadly, Kevin must possess human hosts from time to time to feed on. And by gum, after decades of failed attempts, a random break-in at the facility and ingestion of the formula by meth addict Robert Reynolds No, not the guy who plays Deadpool , led to a successful trial!
As per the comics, Reynolds gained the power of a million exploding suns. Sentry has way above class strength he has ripped Carnage in two, and beaten She-Hulk, Thor, and Captain Marvel all at the same time , light speed flight, and telepathic powers far in excess of Professor X. T'Challa, as well as the other Black Panthers, have had strength that is just above peak human potential. What this means is that Black Panthers could lift about pounds more than Cap.
It might not be much, but it's not the only thing that Black Panther has over Cap in terms of strength, since his Vibranium-laced suit would give him a ton of extra strength, not to mention protection from bullets.
But, at the end of the day, all this isn't enough to place Black Panther's herb-enhanced strength that high on the list. This one might come as a surprise, but Wolverine is actually stronger than Black Panther and Captain America.
According to our handy strength scale, Wolverine's power is another notch above the previous entries, most likely due to his adamantium skeleton. Where Captain America and Black Panther top out at around and pounds respectively, Wolverine's strength limit is a bit less defined, but he has been shown to be able to handle close to two tons.
Though the vague description of Wolverine's strength does make it hard to place him, we can definitely say that he is stronger than Cap and Black Panther for two reasons. His Adamantium Skeleton means his bones do not break under the pressure of immense weight. Then there's his healing factor, which allows his muscles to constantly grow back stronger every time they break down. Next up is Jessica Jones, who, while her powers have changed over the the years, her strength has remained rather consistent.
Her strength seems to start at around two tons, already placing her above Wolverine, and caps out somewhere around 25, placing her in a much higher tier than the previous entries. Jessica is easily the first hero on this list that you can actually consider "super strong," versus just having "enhanced" strength. And, that's only as she is now, without flight. If you look at her strength when she was younger and still went by "Jewel," her ability to fly would make her even stronger since it would add some velocity to her punches and some lift to her strength.
Her durability and ability to recover quickly are also worth noting, as she could push beyond her strength and recover from the resulting injuries with ease. Both before and after the blue fur started growing in, Hank McCoy was easily the strongest of his fellow founding X-Men, possessing plenty of agility and intelligence to go with his strength.
With his mutant animal muscle, Hank has the power to lift upwards of 10 tons, and while this might place him below Jessica Jones, his strength has been clearly defined by this limit, whereas, Jessica's strength is a bit less defined. Because of this, Beast ranks just a bit above Jess, his agility and intelligence also contributing to a higher position.
While Jessica Jones is also smart, Beast is a super genius, and he knows how to fully utilize his strength. Plus, let's not forget that Beast has gone through multiple secondary mutations throughout his life, getting stronger each time, so his weight limit might not be set in stone.
Leading us into the second tier of super-strong heroes, we have the Web-Slinger himself, Spider-Man. Spider-Man's strength is often described to be the proportionate strength of a spider, meaning if a spider were the size of human, that's how strong Spider-Man is. The strongest known spider is the jumping spider, which can lift times its own weight. So if we apply that to Peter, who is of about average weight, then he could lift around 12 tons.
However, the "proportionate strength of a spider" is not always a fast and hard rule, and over the years, comics have depicted Spider-Man as being able to lift upwards of 25 tons, more than double what a human-sized spider would be able to lift. Spider-Man is strong, but not stronger than the bulletproof Luke Cage.
He might not go by Power Man anymore, but he still has plenty of power, especially behind his punches. Along with his unbreakable skin, Luke has some impressive strength that puts him above Spider-Man's strength scale. How much stronger than Spider-Man is he? About twice as much, making his weight limit around 50 tons.
One might think that being able to lift up to , pounds is enough to put Luke Cage at the top of this list, but unfortunately, this is just the beginning of the strength scale's upper tier. Not to say that Luke Cage is weak, not by a long shot, but there are still plenty of super-strong heroes that can outclass Power Man. You don't get a name like "The Destroyer" without, well, destroying , and Drax's super-strength is pretty useful for destroying things.
Drax's alien body is gifted with strength equal, and perhaps greater, to that of Luke Cage, as well as superhuman durability and accelerated healing. Drax is also a skilled fighter both with his bare hands and with two short blades, making his strength much more deadly.
So, what makes him stronger than Luke Cage even though they are both in the ton weight limit tier, is his aura. This is a power that Drax activates only in times of great need. This aura creates a protective shield and increases his physical strength so much that he was able to rip out Thanos' heart. While this would normally put him higher up on the list, it's only a temporary power, so Drax ranks below The Vision has a great many superpowers, one of which includes density manipulation, a power that gives him even more abilities, including super strength.
At his base density, Vision has above human strength, but when he increases his density, his max weight limit goes up to 50 tons. Again, we have another superhero with the same exact weight limit as Luke Cage, so what makes him stronger? Like we said in the introduction, we are also taking the hero's other powers into consideration, and Vision has a lot of abilities that would let him win in a fight against Luke Cage or Drax, which is what places him above the two.
Specifically, his flight and solar beams would definitely leave him the victor of a fight with either hero, and both augment his physical strength exponentially.
Now we are getting into the higher tiers of super-strength in the Marvel universe; the tons or more category. First off, we have everyone' favorite tree alien, Groot, who is one of the strongest superheroes out there.
Groot's tree-like body is denser and stronger than most superheroes on Earth, which in turn grants him great strength that can increase exponentially as he changes his size and shape, another powerful ability his plant body grants him. Though he might be in the tons category, his strength is essentially limitless, since, as mentioned, he is able to increase his size and effortlessly regenerate parts of his body that are lost, meaning he can add to his strength with ease.
But, since these powers are reliant on changing his form, we're going to count him at his base form only, placing him at the bottom of the higher strength tier. Next up we have a character who, for some reason, doesn't show up on the strength scale: Miss America.
